this is my original 8 inch chef design really intended for rock chopping due to the knife profile. This is made from 61 Rockwell hardness AEB-L stainless steel. Handle is made from spalted maple/African Blackwood and brass spacers. This will perform the majority of kitchen tasks and is a great all around style knife.
on a personal note my daughter designed this handle and calls it the lord of the rings knife because the spalted maple looks like the map used in the movies.
also this is NOT a cooking with clams signature knife. those knifes were a completely different profile and wood handle
