It has been heat treated to 61 hrc and cryogenically treated for higher hardness and edge retention. heel heigh is 2.125 inches. Handle is green dyed maple burl, blue g10 spacers and redwood burl accent. All handle woods have been stabilized which is a process wherein air is removed from wood under high pressure and replaced with a heat cured resin. This aids in decreasing movement of wood by allowing less moisture to enter wood.
